GRAPELAND PARK
Phase I-Baseball Complex &
Phase II-Water Playground Phase III-Community Center

Grapeland Park is a 13 acre multi-purpose park showcasing a Romero Britto themed aquatic facility including a large activity pool with a water playground, small water playground for children under 5 years, 600 foot lazy river with interactive water play, large resort style pool with beach entry to a depth of 5 feet. The baseball comlex features a 2 story sports building for sports officials, concession area, restroom and storage surrounded by four lighted baseball fields, batting cage, bleachers and site amenities. The Community Recreational Center is a 5,600 sq. ft. facility which will provide administrative offices and space for community activities .

PALMETTO BAY PARK

Palmetto Bay Park is a 24 acre community park offering of a variety of recreational facilities including a 2 story multi-purpose sports, concession, rest room, storage building surrounded by 6 lighted softball fields, batting cage, shade covered bleachers, 2 pavilions, boundless playground, 2 basketball courts, skate park, community recreation building and site amenities.

PERRINE WAYSIDE PARK

Perrine Wayside Park is a 3 acre wooded neighborhood Dog Park with separated areas for small and large dogs, walkways, pavilion, site amenities, lake and aerial fountain and fenced with secure double dog gates at 2 entrances.

BROWARD COUNTY MASS TRANSIT SUPPORT FACILITY

The Broward County Mass Transit Support Services Facility includes a new 2 story 17,500 square foot administrative office building, 300KW generator for building operation during and after a hurricane, bus parking, new vehicle entry off major road and xeriscape planting scheme with native materials.

SCHOOL BOARD OF BROWARD COUNTY VARIOUS PLAYGROUNDS

30 playgrounds were designed for pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, elementary and child care age children at 22 Broward County elementary schools. Featured in each playground are age appropriate Landscape Structures play structures, colorful resilient rubber play surface, sand play areas, walkways, pavilions and protective fencing.

DORAL PARK

Doral Park includes a 5,000 square foot community center, 2 Sportex synthetic turf soccer fields, 4 basketball courts, 4 tennis courts, 2 sand volleyball courts, sports lighting and scoreboards for all sports, shaded bleachers and playground, pavilion, 10 station exercise course, site amenities, open space play field, parking and landscaping.

LAKEWOOD PARK

Lakewood Regional Park is a 157 acre active and natural facility offering a Myrtha learn to swim pool and splash deck, 4 lighted tournament soccer fields, a 2 story multi-purpose sports, concession, restroom building surrounded by 4 lighted baseball/softball fields, picnic pavilions, walkways, bridges and multi-purpose trails meandering through an extensive wetland featuring a 6 acre lake.

LITTLE HAITI PARK, PHASE I-Soccer Facility

Little Haiti Park Phase 1 features a regulation lighted soccer field, a practice soccer field, shade covered stadium seating, children’s water playground, domino pavilion and tables, walkways, site amenities and landscaping.

COUNTRY CLUB PARK

Country Club Park is a 3 acre passive neighborhood park offering a paved entry and semi-circular parking area, a large open green space for free play, 2,000 lineal foot perimeter walkway with 10 exercise stations, playground, pavilion, site amenities and landscaping.

FIU SOCCER FACILITY

An existing grass playing field at the FIU South Campus was converted into a new regulation soccer field for intramural sports and NCAA competitive play. The new soccer field is a Sportex synthetic grass with permanent striping and new Musco sports lighting system.

BROWARD COUNTY,
DISTRICT 4

Plantation Heritage Park Phase 3 improvements include an improved entry roadway, a new gate house building and water feature, a 2,000 square foot shade covered playground, remodeled administration building, site amenities, a state of the art computerized irrigation system that covers 40 acres of grounds as well as removal of extensive stand Australian Pine tree.

BROWARD COUNTY,
DISTRICT 5

C. B Smith Park improvements include 20 new recreational vehicle campsites on a lake shoreline, 50 amp electrical, phone and cable service, a new building with restrooms, showers and laundry facilities and renovation of an existing restroom building for code and ADA compliance.

Markham Park Improvements include a new entry road configuration and gatehouses.

Brian Piccolo Park improvements include 10 new hydrogrid tennis courts, sports lighting, walkways and screening.

POMPANO BEACH AQUATIC FACILITY

Pompano Beach Community Pool is a major aquatic complex that includes a 25 yard x 50 meter Myrtha Pool with 8 lanes long course and 13 lanes across with 2 one meter diving boards for high school and collegiate competition, a large T-shape learn to swim and recreational pool for all ages, administration building for admission, operations and lockers and extensive decking.

MITCHELL MOORE AQUATIC FACILITY

Mitchell Moore Pool is a 25 yard by 25 meter 9 lane Myrtha stainless steel pool system designed to host high school competition as well as a shallow recreation and learn to swim area with an in water bench for lessons, pool deck and entry building for registration, changing, lockers, showers and offices.

VICTORY POOL

Victory Park Pool was a 40 year old Olympic style competitive pool and diving facility that was converted to a modern community aquatic facility. The new multi-purpose facility includes a large water slide at one end with a 25 meter 8 lane section for high school competition in the middle, a shallow learn to swim area with a water bench and ADA ramp at the other end, a 2,000 square foot water playground, site amenities and bleachers.
